February Challenge at Kraft it up!

February is all about using stickers in a creative way. Its still plenty of time to join this months challenge here. The challenge goes like this:

This month I want to see some creative uses for sticker embellishments, now all of us have them, they can be epoxy, journaling, chipboard, fabric stickers, lettering or decorative borders the list goes on...

I had to think hard about this one, how I could use up some old stickers and change them because the colours and designs were really not maching anymore. I found some old Prima epoxy stickers and thought they would give my page a bit of fun shape and demention.

I took theese old stickers and covered them with two different kinds of washi tape, then I placed them across my page as a background. After doing that I went crazy with my paints and stamps.

As you can see I painted around and on the stickers and added a little bit of doodeling here and there.

I also added a cupple of banners with twine some wood veneers and thickers.

And the results became like this!

Thanks for looking :)

Guest Designer at Kraft it up!

Oh Im just sooooo happy! I got picked for the January spot! The page I got picked for was the clean and simple one I made for the november challenge:

And this month they have a really fun colour challenge going, so if you like to work with bright and fresh colours, I suggest you also give it at go. Join the january challenge and share the fun.

Here is the page I made:

Ive used acrylic paints for the background, Chipboard ballon from Fabscraps, Leftover bazzil, thickers, pompom trim, buttons, doolies and wooden pieces. (I bought the wooden pieces in a Interior shop, called Kremmerhuset. )

Kraft it up DT call!

A while back, Kraft it up had a design team call. There was an example layout that had to be made for the application, and here is the one Ive made. The criterias was:

1. Kraft CS/PP
2. Mists/Paints/Inks - Any type of use is fine
3. 2 - 3 photos 4x6 or smaller
4. These colours - Blue/Red/Yellow & Black

I used a acrylic paste, Dylusions spray, paint, Deco Art Snow writer and different tapes on the background, and for the rest of the page, thickers, rubons, buttons, old metal trash, Tim Holtz metals, stickers and Dymo.
I just love the photos of my son here. We did rollerskating this summer and he just really had to go :)

Thanks for looking :)
